St Joseph's celebrates Book Week
Our St Joseph's school community have celebrated Book Week and the importance of books and reading for children in many fun ways.
All students and staff participated with enthusiasm and commitment throughout the week, especially during our Book Week parade and Book Week sharing.
It was wonderful to see the many characters we have grown to love and cherish stepping out of their books and into our school.
Students from Kindergarten to Year 6 dressed up as their favourite storybook character and paraded grade by grade around our playground space.
It was also fantastic to see the many competition entries, the very entertaining grade sharing items, and of course the staff performance.
Normally, this is an event where parents are warmly welcomed but unfortunately, it was not possible this year due to COVID-19. Instead, our staff decided to make a Book Week website that included a video of each year's parade and other events for families to enjoy. Click here to access the website and parade videos.
